UPDATE: Statement on bus vandalism in Castlemilk

It's been brought to my attention by First Bus that, due to number of incidents of stone throwing at bus windows in the Castlemilk area, the company had to temporarily stop services at Croftfoot from travelling to Castlemilk.

I wanted to bring this information to the attention of the local community, as these services are a vital public transport link for Castlemilk.

It is unacceptable that community transport links be put at risk by small band of mindless vandals, and in order for this to be avoided in future, I would urge you to do all you can to raise awareness in an effort to prevent further acts of vandalism, which would ensure a speedy return of these services.
