Glasgow MP presses Chancellor for funding to support the bicentenary of the birth of Glasgow's Alexander 'Greek' Thomson

Stewart McDonald MP urged the Chancellor Philip Hammond to provide financial support ahead of the bicentenary of the birth of Glasgow's Alexander 'Greek' Thomson, after missing out on funding in the Autumn Statement. The Chancellor suggested the matter be raised with the Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport.
