UK deal with Volkswagen "miserable" compared to USA

Stewart McDonald MP branded the UK Government's deal with Volkswagen "miserable" after the Minsiter of State for Transport confirmed the company would pay £1million to the UK Goventment, but said nothing on compensation for consumers. Meanwhile, Volkswagen provided a $15billion settlement to customers in the USA.
