Prime Minister did not discuss INF treaty at EU Council

Following reports that the US is due to to announce it is going to leave the INF Treaty, Stewart McDonald MP, and SNP Defence Spokesperson, asked the Prime Minister if the issue was discussed at the EU Council.

The Prime Minister said the treaty was was not discussed, but a number of other security matters were , and called on all parties to abide by the treaty.

Stewart McDonald MP said the US leaving the treaty "will not help to bring Russia back into compliance and will be dangerous for us all".
