MP delivers Christmas food appeal to Southside residents

Glasgow South’s MP, Stewart McDonald, will this week deliver his Christmas food appeal for pensioners across the constituency, after local residents kindly offered donations.

Small food items, such as tea, coffee, biscuits, have been donated for the pensioner appeal.

Food parcels are now being distributed to food banks and pensioners across the Southside constituency.

Commenting, Stewart McDonald MP said;

“Southsiders have warm hearts and generous spirits. I am incredibly grateful to those constituents who have donated to my Southside seniors Christmas appeal.

“Everyday items that seem so small to us; such as tea and biscuits; will help make things a little bit easier for people less fortunate than ourselves.

“Donations will be making their way across the constituency this week, helping out those in need."
