Glasgow MPs call for a halt to Universal Credit roll-out

Stewart McDonald MP has joined elected reps across Glasgow in writing to the Department for Work and Pensions calling for a halt to the Universal Credit roll-out.

Universal Credit is due to be rolled out in the Southside of Glasgow on September 26th at Newlands jobcentre.

MPs across Glasgow have voiced their concern about the Universal Credit system, have written to Esther McVey and have urged local residents to sign the petition calling for a halt to Universal Credit.
